So I've been on a bit of a middle eastern kick for the past couple days, and I figured I'd share some new recipes I've learned. I've been collecting recipes for a while to add to a cookbook I've been working on, and these are some of the new ones for the middle eastern food section I've gotten from some Lebanese friends.

So here we have two of my favorites, Fool and Koussa )

i was going to comment on all this delicious food, but since you're from michigan i'll comment on la shish. whatever those hot pink pickled vegetables are they put on everything...they are the most delicious things in the world. also, the grilled sweet potatoes blow my mind. their falafel is terrible though. and i'm pretty sure all the dips use yogurt. okay, i'm done ranting.

also, i just realized that i assumed theres way more la shish locations than there really is and you probably have no idea what i'm talking about. sorry.

my friend teased me for liking fool. She said it was very "old fashioned."
