All of the recipes I've found online use sun dried tomatoes. Those are expensive- like 6 bucks for 3 oz or something as equally crazy ( Read more... )

rawon10.blogspot.com has a "bread" recipe that involves flax, carrots and peppers I believe. it's quite good.

wow, that DOES look delicious! Much simpler than rawvolution bread too, I think. Totally making that next friday

Only thing is that it doesn't use tomatoes as an ingredient- although they are on the finished sandwich. My tomatoes today were too ripe for me to enjoy as a topping

I get my sun dried tomatoes at Trader Joe's, 8 oz for $3. You could also try making your own!

I'm sort of curious- Since I'm blending the tomato and dehydrating it anyway to make the bread, is there a sort of extra flavor garnered from dehydrating the tomatoes in advance, then adding them to the mix?
