I LOVE the shakey parmesan cheese!! I put it on everything. Pasta, salads, I just made some amazing garlic toast... Definitely tasty. I think I found it a bit weird at first, but it's grown on me HUMONGOUSLY.
Well, I've never used Daiya.. but my absolute favorite thing to do with anything cheese-y is to either shred or make a spicy sauce and then put it into a layer dip for chips, with refried beans, salsa, guacamole, lettuce, etc. So good.
I don't know if this would work well (haven't tried that cheese, and also don't use vegan cheese much anyway) but I did it when I was ovo-lacto.
Grill one side of bread. place cheese on other side of bread and grill. Moosh up avocado. Spread that on the melty cheese, douse with lots of freshly ground black pepper and lime juice.

i'd say put it on tacos, salads, etc.
i made mac n cheese with daiya and it was ORGASMIC though.

I really loved it, but then you know, started cutting out cheese, so I tried it without and it was still good. =)
