A red onion tart tatin always looks impressive with garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes... or salad if you want a lighter lunch. Also spiced tomato tart. So delicious. That's what I tend to do when I have people over.

Ouuu, I just googled Red Onion Tart Tatin and it looks delicious!
Have some kind of potatoes on the side would be good as well... since
I don't really care for rosemary, perhaps just garlic with spicy red
pepper or somesuch...

Thanks!

Would you mind posting your recipe for the red onion tart tatin? It sounds heavenly, but I'm always leery of trying random recipes from the internet, especially when I'm not familiar with what the final product is supposed to taste like.

But I've been a veggie for 16yrs and I'm always excited to go to a get together with build your own taco/burrito set ups. Shredded cheese and beans with veggies = joy.

I hope you mean vegan cheese since this is a vegan community :)

there are definitely a variety of vegan cheeses out there these days! But taco night even without cheese (sometimes it's hard to find) is an awesome idea.

Or you can make your own "cheese". Cashew butter and miso makes a nice thick paste that can go in first or a white sauce (made with soy or rice milk) with savory yeast flakes added to it can be drizzled on top. Or if you are like us you can be decadent and do both!
