the major con in my head is that when i was drinking coffee every day, i was quite dependent on it. it got so bad that if i hadn't my morning cup, i'd have quite a headache by mid-afternoon. i tried to quit once and started again because of the unbearable headaches. the second time i was tougher. i'm of the opinion that anything that can 'cause that much pain when you stop consuming it cannot be that good.

i don't think it's bad at all every once in a while -- i really like soy lattes... coffee does taste good. but never on a daily basis.

only if it's fair trade coffee, so the workers get a fair price for the goods and their labour!

Our coffee here at school is fair trade, thankfully.

I'll drink it till I die.

i don't drink coffee because:
1. it stains your teeth
2. it can be very irritating to the mouth. my excuse i had oral surgery a few years back and any irritants are awful b/c of all the scar tissue. i can't even use whitening toothpast because it's painful.
3. i have a atrial fibrillation and caffine aggravates this. i'm supposed to stay under 50mg of caffine per day, but around valentine's day this just gets kicked into overdrive. and i try to compensate with loads o' water. yes, i'm a bad patient.
