You can't get much better than "FANTABULOUS" can you? :) Thank you so much. I've been searching and searching, but how to sift through the duds? Plus, I'm tired of attempting to come up with my own stuff and having it flop.

I moderated her pumkin muffin recipe, and I simply CRAVE them sometimes! She is amazing.

You should try the Pumpkin Chocolate cupcakes with cinnamon icing from VCTOtW. I crave THOSE, for sure.

I've found Isa's recipes to be somewhat hit-or-miss (aside from her cupcakes...all of those I've tried have been awesome). Some are absolutely, amazingly fabulous and some are just really bland to me.

What I've tried of zaftigvegan's has been yummy (veganmania.com) and also of kittee's (pakupaku.info). =)

(isa used to be a member too. back when she used LJ. prior to VwaV.)

also, she's of the "under-salt" school of thought. she lets the person who is eating the food add however much salt their palate likes. (she doesn't explain this in all of her books though.)

This was something I really liked about her. The "under-salt" bit, I mean. I was traumatized (not really, but the memory sure has stuck) as a child when I tried some of my dad's food. He over-salts everything, and now I have over-active salt sensors. :)
