pantry is fine (actually preferable), but if you already put it in the fridge, keep it there, since it'd have gotten moist in the fridge, and that's no good if it's then left out.
I put mine in this huge shakey container (that had previously been home to a store-brand garlic salt mixture) and I store it with my spices out on the counter.
It has that stay-fresh cover that you can shake the spice through, and then it also has that screw-on lid too so it stays pretty rockin'.
I keep mine frozen because I don't use it all that often. I once had bugs get into a bag of nutritional yeast, so if I were to keep it out I'd at least put it in a glass jar.
yeah, that's what I thought. I always stored it in my cool, dry pantry and was fine. I haven't been buying the bulk bin nooch because it's not fortified with b12 (at least, the kind they sell at my WF isn't), so I buy a certain kind that comes in cans and is fortified.
