Thanks! I'm glad the recipe looks easy, cus they are and I was always was scared to make them and once I did, I was like, why did I wait this long... teehee I have been making them quite some years now, and never made them with whole wheat before and they come out better, so I had to share!!.

is this yeast instant or active dried yeast?
if it is active dried yeast should the water in the recipe be warmed to 100- 110 degrees to activate it?

Hi yes it is dried yeast and the water should be warm. You can add yeast to small bowl and activate it first if you like, I never do and they still come out good.

I don't have a lj account, I just have to say that these are really amazing. The picture looked so good that my bf and I made them Friday night and there were only three left for the morning. We made poppyseed, sesame seed, cinammon raisin, garlic, and everything ones, and definitely plan on making this recipe again. So easy and delicious! Thanks for posting this.
