Depending on seasons and such it's always rad to look into local farmers and such if available in your area, during certain seasons rather than having to get things from afar.

well see i live in Trinidad [caribbean] so I am going to import things in from the states and whatnot. That's why. Where i live it's veryyyyyyyyyyyyy hard to find and when you do, it's very expensive.

I think they're talking about produce.

local grown, in season produce always tastes SO much better anyway because it wasn't yanked off the vine prematurly and left to ripen in a shipping container.
