Looking for a vegan tomato bisque recipe! Or, at the very least, ideas on what to use instead of cups of cream....

Just sub blended silken tofu or plain nondairy milk.

1&1/2 cup of cashews blended with 1 cup of water, to make a really creamy and rich cream substitute.

Also, for the butter requirments, add olive oil or melted Earth Balance instead.

theres a place where i live that makes vegan artichoke tomato bisque. Its so good, but i have no clue how to make it.

My boss makes amazing tomato bisque and she uses a little four. I have seen rice flour used in certain ones that are in cartons.
