Ricemellow Krispy Treats question

Oct 11, 2006 17:46

Does anyone have any idea how much Ricemellow fluff equals forty large marshmallows? I'm trying to make RKTs but the box gives the recipe in terms of marshmallows and I have no idea how to convert marshmallow units to uh, fluff units.

HALP. Please.

You could try the same recipe that is used for Marshmallow Fluff. I would think it would be similar. I usually use about 2 cups to about 5 cups of cereal.

I've always made my RKTs with fluff instead of marshmallows. Follow the receipe on the box and use 1 jar fluff for the 5c? 6c? of krispies. The texture is so much better with fluff - less sticky, more yummy!

This is what I ended up doing and it worked pretty well except that the refuse to congeal! it's just like a giant bowl of marshmallowy margariney cereal. Still delicious though!

FLUFF UNITS!! hahaha.

um, weigh and convert? go to the supermarket and look at a bag of marshmallows and see how much they weigh - it should say on the packet.

that's if all the other suggestions don't work. if they do, ignore this (very silly) suggestion.

This is what my roommate suggested but I was too lazy to bike to the store! Haha.
