Sounds good. I love using dates as a sweetener. I blend them up until smooth with a bit of water and use them in my oatmeal, etc. It keeps well in the fridge and has a very nice sweetness.

I'll have to try that. I've been using honey on my oatmeal, which I know isn't vegan, but I'm not that strict.

Thank you! I am trying to avoid sugar but would like a "naughty" treat now and then... this one really seems to fit the bill, and with chocolate too... mmmmm. :)

it surprises me that so many people, especially vegans, fear the fat content of nuts. nuts are sooo good for you! if you're going to ever eat fats, nuts are a healthy way to go - along with avacados and olive oil....

I know, I know. I'm on a diet right now. If you could see my roll of flab, you'd know why I care about the fat. Plus I ate almost the whole batch myself.
