My Dutch fiance taught me how to make these a few months ago when he was here, and I kind of forgot about them until this morning when I went to go make breakfast. I just thought I'd share the recipe. :) I haven't any pictures, but take my word for it, they look quite tasty! Recipe under the cut. :)

haha i just told him about them
and he has NO IDEA what i'm talking about
he doesn't remember *anything* dutch though, and he lived there until he was 21

Well, it was Amsterdam. Most of my friends who visit there don't remember much of it later either. ;)

I'm such a loser, I took a nap today and I had a dream that I made these and I forgot to add vanilla or something, hahahha.

Would a banana work as the egg substitute? I've heard 1/2 banana=1 egg but I don't know if it varies according to recipe

I've used banana in British pancakes, and it's worked well - it won't work well if you're looking for savoury, though, as the banana flavour really will come through.
