Does anyone have suggestions on how to make football-shaped kibbeh? I found a vegetarian recipe (uses TVP) that looks pretty easy to veganize (soyogurt/blended tofu for the eggs), but like many recipes, it seems you press it in a pan, cut into little diamond shapes, and bake. the secret to making good falafel is to have enough oil to cover the balls hot enough to solidify them fast enough.

They turn out really yummy and are a great way to eat lentils when you're not feeling like something wet or too 'mushy'.
