christmas casserole

i was looking online for a recipe for this casserole my mom always makes for christmas. it's a swedish tradition, and it's usually made with potatoes, onions and anchovies. i was very excited when i found a vegetarian version of it, and have to share it with you. i translated it from swedish, but the link is here if anyone is curious

oh yes, pepparkakor (you almost had it right!) is awesome. i haven't had time to make any this year though.
