cookie dough

cookie dough is completely safe to eat raw right? there is no reason to have to cook vegan cookies am i right?? cause i like "these lemon cookies" better without cooking them.

I think that's what being a "raw vegan" means, eating vegan cookie dough raw.

OK, I'm kiding (all due respect to raw vegans, woo hoo!).

There's nothing dangerous about eating raw vegan cookiedough except for a stomach ache if you eat too many sweets at once!

People say not to eat raw cookie dough because of eggs and the samonella risk. So if there's no eggs it should be safe.

My mom used to let me eat raw cookie dough that she had made without eggs, but she always said not to eat too much, because raw flour can make your stomach bloated. I'm not sure if this is true, or if she just wanted to make sure there'd be enough dough left to bake the cookies ;)

yeah, i've gotten some pretty nasty stomach aches from eating uncooked flour. it is kind of hard on the digestive system, i think.

i make these awesome pineapple muffins, and the batter is delish!!! the only worry would be if you eat too much you'll lapse into what i like to call "food coma"
