Isn't almost anything a "curry"? What about breaking down my main ingredient, like potato / lentil / spinach, etc.?

ingredients is a good idea too. i can think of lots of non-curry indian dishes, though. lassi, poori, samosa, naan (which we get a ton of recipes for), dal, soup, roti, etc. come to think of it, maybe we should have a section for "breads" in the indian section.

Wait, so is the memories recipe archive as we know it going to cease to exist? It's so nice to have a list to easily pick from, and it's much easier to scan recipe titles without having to scroll down a page of whole posts.

if this layout ends up working, you'll be able to see a list of titles along the left hand side. (but it's only as good as the people who make the entries. if they don't use the subject line, it'll be useless)

this new layout is S2, so they say tags should work with it, but so-far, it's not working. (i've gotta take a break from this though. i "wasted" almost 8 hours making tag titles in the manage>tags thingy, and i can't spend any more brain power on it today)

no, there are some communities that have the tags up and running, and all members can tag any entries.

now if only they could make it so all community members can file away memories in the community.

i know, like a memories page, so we can click on it and get to the tags pages. i'm sure LJ'll figure it all out. (hopefully. crosses fingers)

Oh dear. New technology. Damn. I shall have to read the FAQs and see if the spouse can provide remedial tutoring.
