Greenie Tahini Bowl, II

I went to bed wanting more of this, and I woke up wanting this for breakfast, and I ended up making some more of this for lunch.  I mean seriously... how often does a food made of vegetables and grains make you crave it this intensely?

That's why I like the Goddess dressing. It has tahini it in. Such good salads!

What do you think would be a good grain for someone to try who only ever has cooked with rice? (I mean, what do you think is the next one I should try?)

I LOVE quinoa because it's packed with nutrition. Quinoa and rice are the only grains I use with any regularity. Quinoa cooks in 15 minutes so it's really easy and it fills me up more than rice does. You can get red or white varieties.

Other grainy things I've tried include buckwheat groats (those were pretty good actually), pearl barley (not a fan of the texture), and wheat berries (I was eating those for awhile, in a salad with a vinaigrette style dressing). I've had spelt pasta and pretzels but haven't eaten spelt otherwise. I should probably be more grain-adventurous than I usually am, but quinoa is so good that I usually just eat that instead of rice.
