This was sooooooooooo lovely, darling, as is all your work.
But I wasn't smiling at the end. I felt sadness. Maybe because it brought to mind all of the things of his father that Neville could have had.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff. A hefty emotional punch in so few words.

Thanks for liking this piece.

That was a slip on Neville's part. He meant only that people didn't think he looked like his dad and he liked having something that looked like him. But at the same time your right, the situation with his dad is always there in the background. He missed out on all the things from his dad that he could have had.
