name the stars (chapter one). star trek xi, r, 2959 words (this section). The smile falls away from her lips and the last she sees of the Enterprise is his face, his eyes fixed on hers, his mouth opening to speak.
Oh man, this is already super scary and freaking me out (I don't watch horror movies EVER and fast forwarded through a lot of DOOM). eeeeeeeeee, stay in the light, Christine!
so help me I will sit you down and play counsellor and solve this thing with words but omg, this made me laugh. Use your words, Jim!
I love the little things here--McCoy standing still in the turbolift until Chapel precedes him (fuck yeah, chivalry!), his IMMEDIATE problem with Chapel going down to the scary planet (because he looooooooooves her), the last thing she sees of the Enterprise is him. It's scary and wonderful all at once!
I like this story - I like all of your stories, with Mccoy and Chapel and I like how there's adventure with this one and how they so clearly don't understand each other: she thinks he doesn't trust her, and he does a horrible job of communicating anything to her.

Super update. Very creepy and you win something shiny for mentioning Lovecraft!

The baddies in the shadows remind me of the Vashta Nerada from Doctor Who. Inspiration?
Keep up the good work!
