I agree with kittensclaws, I'd have long since just given up. Your tenacity is admirable, certainly.
If you ever feel like it, I'd like a migraine headache timeline, as I've clearly missed years here. Last thing I remember fully was that you were going to Wake Forest and I remember you being in Asheville for reasons I'm still unsure of...I missed a lot of entries. Now I'm curious...
....you could just tell me to read through years of journaling though....I'd understand. :-)
I started to read some of 2001 but I got too random to figure out what happened with the headaches and whatnot, lol.
Two years sitting at home? Man, I don't know how you're not the most bored person on the face of the earth! I have more questions if you care to answer.
How am I not the most bored person on Earth? I come close. Fortunately, I have a lot of podcasts that I subscribe to, both audio and video, that keep me entertained. I visit a couple of forums. I have a Facebook page I occasionally check. I have the LiveJournal friends. And when my head hurts too bad to sit at the computer, I'll just passively watch TV. If my head hurts too much to watch TV, I just stare at the wall until I doze off.
But, then, when I do feel like getting out and doing something, there's no shortage of things to amuse me. By spending all my time cooped up in my room, I'm very easily amused and something as simple as going for a walk in Mac Anderson Park makes me feel like I've actually accomplished something
( ... )
William, that sucks majorly. Did any of the treatment from your trip help your doctor at all? Have you looked for a different doctor, perhaps, that might be more specialized with migraine pain instead of sleep and epilepsy issues? Are there any in your area?
If there's one in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, you are welcome to come stay with me and my dad for treatment.
I'm not sure if it's helping or not, but the past three days have been fairly decent. I'm going to see the neurologist again tomorrow, and I'm going to probably be on the medicine for another month, just to ensure that this isn't a fluke.
