I wouldn't object to either...although the BEs are nicer in that they aren't as muscular. However, they have the magic and it'd be interesting to see what a drunk BE mage could do...or even a drunk, shape-shifting NE druid could do.

Yes ~ you need heat on nights when it dips into the low 30s yet feels like the mid-20s. I spent the night elsewhere on Friday and left the heat off; when I returned yesterday it was about 59 degrees in the house.

They're staying at the Paris for a couple of days in a room that (according to my dad) looks like "a bordello." Isn't it funny how everyone (including me) says that, despite A) Probably never having actually BEEN in a bordello and B) the fact that I highly doubt that bordellos even look like that anymore. Of course, they ARE in Nevada, so that IS a possibility.
Well, it's the closest Mom will ever be able to drag Dad to the actual Paris (he went there when he was stationed in Europe and hated everyone in it), so I think she's making the best of it.
