It's been a hard couple of weeks.  Darker mornings, earlier evenings, an 11 day migraine, 3 patient deaths in one week (2 expected, but one of those a patient I've known a decade and loved, and 1 totally horribly unexpected), and the elephant in the room

i still think it's a little strange that we both have parents calling to dead relatives for years, and still holding on. i obviously understand, somewhat, the mourning for years. it's awful.

i'm glad you're at an office, now, where if you have to call out and go to Vermont, you can, and not worry that people don't have your back.
