I thought it was time for an update. I don't have much going on here in Baltimore. It's restaurant week this week, so I'm hitting a few restaurants in the area. Went to an Italian restaurant last night. the service was incredibly slow. In typical Baltimore fashion though ( Read more... )

The Oceanaire is supposedly great, we just got one in Cincinnati. Let me know how you like it and if they have fried oysters :)

Yeah, I hear the menu changes DAILY and they never know what they have until the evening of.

....AMAZING!

I forgot to check if they had fried oysters, but they did raw oysters which were excellent as well. The calamari was one of the best I've ever had (sorry Robbie...).

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to edit my last comments, so I'll post a better review now.

First off, the restaurant claims to be business casual--but most people were in regular clothing, tshirts, shorts, etc. The prices were reasonable for an "upscale" seafood restaurant. Not red lobster prices, but infinitely better quality.
The things that most impressed me was the attentive service and the knowledgeable waiters.

I should be flying in Thursday Night, August 28 and be leaving Tuesday, Sept 2.

Nessie has a conference in So. SF at Genentech, but outside of that, I'm not sure what else is going on.
