Anthony Trollope, The Way We Live Now

On holiday I read The Way We Live Now, by Anthony Trollope -- I'd been meaning to for a while, since I had good memories of a BBC adaptation about 10 years ago, although obviously time has dimmed the details a bit. This isn't a Trollope I've read, but it's on the list. He's not a favorite of mine and I have a lot of other things on the list before him.

I've read "The Eustace Diamonds", but it also wasn't a favorite.

I think "The Way We Live Now" is the best Trollope novel I've read. I have a sentimental attachment to the Palliser novels, but the Eustace Diamonds isn't one of my favorites in that series either (I like Phineas Finn and Phineas Redux better.)

I think I'd move TWWLN to the top of the stack of Trollope novels, but if he's not a favorite, then that's that.
