TV giveth, and then there's that other thing

It looks like the good news about Supernatural is real good news, and not just a bunch of leaked wishful thinking. I really, really want to say "yay!" but it turns out that CBS has canceled Jericho, which is extremely disappointing. I know that the show got off to a slow start, but the final episodes were really stellar, and it deserved a second ( Read more... )

Me too, but I fear that they're not wrong.

And I was all set to do a big pimping-Jericho effort this summer, too. Woe!

You'll all read my SPN/Jericho crossovers, right?

Only if you promise they will at least 50% more interesting than the actual show, which I found OMG so boring. (It should have been exactly my cup of tea - it looked perfect for me, on paper - but wow, at the hiatus, I gave up. I just didn't care about any of those characters. Not one of them.) I'm sad, too, because that was the one show that I really truly wanted to love this past season. Anyway, I'm also sad for you guys who did love it. I hate to see anyone lose the shows they are attached to.

I think I had you down as exempt-from-crossover-reading, just on general principles. *g*

I watched it intermittently before the hiatus, bur pretty constantly for the last third of the season -- I remember some time, pre-hiatus, thinking that it was dull and I couldn't remember anyone's names -- and it really came together at the end. But I liked most of the characters, by the end, as well. Sorry you couldn't get into it.

Hey, speaking of crossovers -- how's that Deadwood crossover going?

I have a bit written. I am sucked into the double class-load and a work explosion at the moment.

I'm thinking over the summer.

But I also have a novel I'm going to be writing then, and my entry for SPN summergen.

I feel your too-much-work-and-too-many-things-to-write pain! But I thought I'd at least let you know that someone out there cares about it.
