I've said what I have to say about both of these issues more than once, but I did start thinking a bit about writing. the Bristow-Derevko nexus of doom

Heh! I once used the phrase "Bristow/Derevko maelstrom of death and irony" in a story, so this made me giggle quite a bit.

Argh' Ties!!!!! Ties!!!! I've fixed the typo, but argh!!!! Although I'm sure Krycek's toes are prone to melodrama.

All my XF fic, nearly all of which has Krycek in it, can be found here. The series I'm referring to can be found under the link to "In Love with Truth," but I should warn you that these are old stories and there are things I did there that I would never do now. Never! And I've (I hope!) become a better writer since then. My fondness for these stories might be compared to my fondess for a few slow but hardworking students I've had -- it's not that they're particularly good, or that you'd wish them on anyone else, but they do the best they can.

And I always thought Sark would remove himself from the "Bristow-Derevko nexus of doom" (which is great by the way) when it was in his best interests (monetarily, emotionally and physically). For the moment it's just not. He makes a lot of money pissing those people off.

I think the argument could be made that when Syd/Spy!daddy retire and Spy!Mommy goes on to do other things that then Sark will move on. I belive he'll always keep tabs but I think he'll do more of his own thing by the end of the year. Unless JJ kills him.

See, I actually think that the Bristow/Derevko conection became a problem for Sark back in Season 2, or in Season 3 at the latest. He needs to get far, far away from these people, no matter how good the money is. Because they are smarter than he is, and they will kill him.

Unless JJ does. Yes, I have fear about this.
