Alias Fic

I felt sorry not to have anything for Auburn's Spy Wednesday challenge. First I had a strange fever dream of an Alias/XF crossover, in which Marita Covarrubias is (a) in charge of the Covenant and (b) quite insane, but (c) not the third Derevko sister, thank you. Oh. How wonderful.

Sark sits waiting, his mind clear and nothing in his eyes but the door itself.

That's marvelous.

Marita running the Covenant! Of course!

The frightening thing is how easy it would be fit Rambaldi into the X-Files.

Keep experimenting if this what you come up with. Nice to see someone remember Allison and that Will killed her.

I find Allison's utter disappearence irritating--her story is one of many interesting threads that have been dropped this season in favor of facile soap-opera faux-relationships.

But I won't rant at you--thank you very much for the feedback!

And you're right, Rambaldi would fit nicely into the XF universe.

Oh, that's such a sad ending for all three of them. Lovely work.

Tippen's body cooling in the tub, his face reduced to shards of bloodstained bone.

That is a wonderfully visceral, visual phrase. The entire piece is so well-written. Really enjoyed this. :)

Given Allison's physical transformation, it seemed important to me that Sark would destroy Will's face as well. Some kind of sociopathic poetic justice.

I'm glad you liked it.

...and it's all dispatched so easily. In one day, it's done.

This is really tight writing. I like the spare, unsentimental style. Very enjoyable read.

Thank you--I'm pleased that you like it. (These days, I only have time for spareness--description is utterly beyond me.)
