New FIc: Alias

A set of two 100-word pieces, the second of which is, in all honesty, only wish-fulfillment. Jack comes home, twice.

Wishful thinking or not, I loved them both.
Thanks for sharing!

Glad you liked it! I'm still scratching my head and wondering when I became obsessed with Jack Bristow.

I've been a sucker since Vincent Garber went down with the ship in Titanic. Plus, the whole 'Vaughn's not good enough for you' bit from last night.

Oooh. I like, especially the second one. Well done.

I am in complete agreement on this point. Glad you like them: the second is of course dear to my heart.

Very nice. I love when you write these two-- it's always perfect. If we can't get LO, then I expect spy mommy in fanfic, dammit. *g*

I'm so glad that you didn't think the second was over sweet. But really, are we supposed to believe that they worked together to find Sydney without at least a few slips in self-control?

Thanks so much! (And yeah--apparently solitary brought Jack in touch with his emotions. Who'd have thought it?)

He knows how careful she is, how careful they both are--in everything but this one thing...

So cool. (sighs with pleasure) This reminds me of Odysseus and Penelope, both of them eternally wary... but how could I not think of them when you name the story "nostos"!

Yep. If I ever write a big Jack/Irina romance (and this is growing more likely by the day) it will be called "Homophrosyne." Or maybe Ithaka. Anyway, it will have those lines from Odyssey 6 as the intro piece.
