Back in Vermont, then: the comfortable land of oughts. No, hear me out--when I come back to college I'm beset by very specific knowledge of what it is I Ought to be Doing or who I Ought to See, and, granted, I don't get 'round to all this doing or seeing as promptly as I ought. But I'm certain of what and when it is. It can be measured with a red ( Read more... )

oh, man. I want to very much. Mr. C.R.Z. proved himself & then some with The Shadow of the Wind, so at this point I'd probably read a pamphlet about plumbing if he was the author...

oooh, I'm glad! ♥ I've been enchanted with the second for a couple months. Did you just pick up the song, or are you a Soul Coughing fan yourself? :o If the former, I could upload some other songs of theirs you might like, too.

...you may've noticed from previous posts that my adoration for Mike Doughty's lyrics in any form borders on the obsessive. xD I'm going home for spring break in March two days early just to see him in concert.

I'd never heard of Soul Coughing before this, and now I'm sorry I haven't. If you've got the time I would love some more of this. :DDD

Whoa. Dedication! XDD I have artists I'm like that for, too, though. Amazing music > normal life. For sure.

No problem! I've just made a list of my favorite Soul Coughing songs & will send 'em along tomorrow--either give me your e-mail, or I can post 'em in another LJ entry. So happy you like! I'm so sorry I got into them after the fact--they broke up back in 1999 or so, I think; I discovered them after I heard Mike Doughty's solo stuff...

...I am so weary of finding bands ten-plus years after they dissolve. D: It's disheartening. I mean, on top of all the dead authors, I have to endure this, too? *laments*
