Well actually no, I'm not going to scan it in, but the sticker in my passport (which *should* be a strawberry scented scratch n sniff - what do you mean, that's just me, and it'll confuse the customs dogs?) has finally been granted. ( more visa nonsense below cut + short reviews... )

Congratulations! :) It's funny, my boss lives in Croydon, and his description of the place is disturbingly similar to yours...

That's a shame about Spamalot, it's one of those ones I'd really like to see but I keep getting put off by the mixed reviews people I know have given it. Maybe I should just try and get tickets for Hairspray, or Avenue Q for the second time. :S

A friend of mine both lives in Croydon, *and* works for the home office. He is one of the most down-beat and dry witted creatures I know. One has to wonder how much he is a product of his environment ( ... )

It is an awesome feat - and from your posts, I gather you'd be quite isolated/bereft without your licence.

I do have a licence, which I was able to use until April. Then, while my licence is current, I am no longer allowed to use it in the UK. I can drive in Euroland, or in Ireland, just not here.
