The Turkey Trot

We did the Turkey Trot trail ride yesterday. It was Sarge's first trail, and I had no idea how he'd respond to that kind of thing-- not to mention that there would be a lot of other horses there.

At the point when I looked down and realized I was barely even holding the reins, because he was so relaxed, I just started beaming. It more than made up for the fact that I had to stand in a creek for a little while to convince him that the water would not eat him.
