One of the things I do for a living is teach people how to manage crisis. Sometimes this elicits the idea that there is a magical answer that will make everything feel better, unfortunately this is just not so. Crisis is another word for Chaos and much like nature is imbued with mystery and cannot be contained with our usual sense of competency. ( Read more... )

When walking through any 'crisis' we tend to gravitate towards pertinent verbiage. Currently walking through the dying of a parent and all the chaos that comes with it. The roller coaster of emotions that comes with it all is...overwhelming~ I'm sure the process is going to be a learning experience. I've learned so much already. Picking through the ashes in the aftermath will be part of the healing as well. Everything you've written in this very eloquent piece is something I can relate to and I'm thankful you've taken the time to share it.

Always,
Esoteric~

Hello Vaysha, what a wonderful surprise to open up and see this post. It seems, for me, almost dauntingly so, a case of serendipity. Because I know you did not write this specifically for me - but
*Years ago I named my cat Vaysha (after you)
*my first cat ever was called Chaos
*In the years I was away from live journal I was a scaffolder.
So, not only does the content resonate like a Chinese bowl, it had those anchors which gave me a feeling that I better let this soak in. I needed this reaffirmation like a flower needs rain.
Thank you.

dear one!
how sweet to get a message from you.
I am working on being here more often but then I had to travel back home to help birth a grand baby! Grandbaby! Where did the time go- remember when we were youngsters on lj back in the day and had wee ones of our own.
I look forward to catching up with you.
