HOW DOES GINNY KNOW?

To my mind, she instinctively knows that Harry's secret had something to do with Draco.

Unsurprising; I have always believed that Ginny is very intelligent.

quilt like seaweed makes me think of the scraps of flag the fishermen find at sea and bring back

Totally where the image of the quilt is coming from. :)

Both of these men seem so lost when they aren't together. Both seem to have been imprisoned after the war?

They are a bit lost when they are not together, aren't they? I am not sure about the imprisoned part, though. Fray's whole story is - to me - about that there are things more important than freedom.

This is beautiful. All these ways they've gotten under one another's skin. That Harry's smell is so familiar to Draco, that Harry has made his whole home into something that reminds him of Draco. And thne Ginny's matter-of-facts strength about it all. Heartrendingly lovely.

Thank you. I am so relieved you see the beauty in this. :) The way I envisioned Harry's flat is pretty much how Draco's imagines it in "Bound Skerry".

This is gorgeous writing. And such a treat, a double one! :D I love that I can see Harry's flat through the imagery in Come Back To Me, same as Draco's was familiar from Bound Skerry, because this series feels pretty much like an extension of those two fics, a complement rather than a remix. Lovely, bebè. <3
