Het and gen HP?

I am trying to promote hp_concrit_fest to the het/gen part of fandom, too, but somehow I can't seem to figure out which are the relevant communities. Does anyone have better taps on the het/gen HP fandoms? How would you guys go about promoting a fest to het/gen audiences? Which communities should I approach?

Any ideas?

From what I've seen out there Snape/Hermione and Lucius/Hermione seem to be quite big ships, so you might kick it off with those. I don't know the best places to advertise, but there should be. Maybe, check the daily_prophet for clues as to popular comms.

It's my feeling that Snape/Hermione, Lucius/Hermione and Draco/Hermione are the three big het ships. Totally not sure, though.

I checked the daily_snitch for popular het/gen comms but couldn't figure out specific communities.

I think you are on the right track with those three het pairings.

There's also the general hp_het

I totally get those het ships. It's the same appeal as H/D, the Slytherin/Gryffindor dynamic, with the war and its aftermath shaping the relationship. :)

I seem to remember that Maggie pimped Kinkfest to HP Het. Thanks for reminding me.

I know lovedraughts is a snape/hermione general pairing comm (like harrydraco) and it's pretty active.

i've also heard of draco/ginny a bit. i know they have their exchange dgficexchange and a general comm ginny-n-draco
