This rec is a trip down memory lane for many of us. :) And if you haven't been in fandom when the Shoebox Project was created in 2004, you have something brilliant to look forward to.

Well, this is just awesome! I rememeber starting that series, but for some reason, didn't finish. I've often thought about going back and re-reading it. Now I don't have to because I can listen in the car, on walks, in the tub or in bed. Yay!! Thank you for the rec and thanks to the lovely readers who put in all the time!

I have my player packed with the podfics now, and it's such a pleasure to be able to listen to such a long story/universe. :)

Thank you! I listened to the first few chapters posted somewhere else but then couldn't get things to load and didn't want to hear things out of order. I loved what I did get to hear and I'm really grateful for a new link!

Actually, I'm reccing R/S on crack_broom this month. I'm going to do a podfic rec (it's already been recced as fic obvs) so that people can find this in the memories there. Thank you very much.

Oh, it's not just a new link it's a whole new project bringing together all the old podfics and adding the video! This is even more exciting than I'd thought. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction!

It is a whole new project, building on the podfics that already existed. I am in chapter 3 now, and it is awesome. The readers are brilliant, and brilliantly different for James, Remus and Sirius. There are background noises, but for me that only makes the listening experience even better. I had to make sure my mp3 player was not set on shuffle, and then the podfics played in the correct order. ;)

If you wouldn't rec it on the crackbroom, it would have been one of my freeflying June recs. :) It makes me sad to see the low hit and kudos and comment count for such an exciting project.

I completely forgot about this. I'd started reading it ages ago, then just lost track of it. Thanks so much for reminding me about it.
