HELLO FRIEND!

Anybody know what my friend's [scientific] name is? I occasionally see them around my house, but they seem fairly innocuous, appearing mostly concerned with guarding my sinks. I don't mind having a few extra friends roaming about, provided they are not a pest. If it turns out that they eat cotton or 9mm bullets, I've got a problem.

Awesome! Yay! I don't know if that's the exact species or sub-species, but definitely close enough. I figured someone would know!

Silverfish maybe? They like to hang out near sinks.

I'm not certain of the species (other than "it's a silverfish"), but I'm fairly sure they're in the same genus as this guy.

Awwww!
They're our fuzzy little friends who support our ecosystem! Technically, we're the pests to them since we're the ones that destroy their homes first!

As long as they're not mean or hosting their family in my house, I'm totally fine with bumping into them occasionally. And I always greet them! "Hello, friend!"

Yeah, I'm a nutter. :D

Interesting! Well, I'm not too worried about them damaging books here... That might be a problem at Skwid or Johnny's place, though!
