Heh you've pulled ahead of me. I think this is the first game that actually makes me resent my WoW raiding schedule (even though we're working on the Lich King).

And holy shit, combat is so slick and awesome. I like the more strategic approach over the command-bitching. FF12 tried for that, but replaced it with gambit-bitching. One description I saw of the combat and fights from another WoWer:

"It's like the best of MMO boss fights, only the rest of your group are champions at what they do, have read the boss strats, and don't disconnect while standing in fire."

Snow IS awesome.

And I can't wait to actually upgrade/level the weapons. And take the shitty ones apart. I was reading the book and came across that and was like "SWEET! IT'S LIKE KOTOR! KEEP EVERYTHING, WILL!"

Really, I think it was an awesome re-design. I'm waiting to see what Ifrit is. THERE IS ALWAYS SHIVA AND IFRIT.

According to Wikipedia, no Ifrit. The old ones are Shiva, Odin, Alexander, and Bahamut.

...I'm kinda upset about this. If you're gonna have Shiva, you better have Ifrit.
