So instead of reading another few chapters of Twilight last night, I spent my time far more productively by starting to play Persona 3.

Persona3 is awesome. (Even if the characters are a little paint-by-numbers-ish...)

That's true, Beth was complaining about Yukari and I'm like "...So she's the lead female." and explained the trope of the... now I can't remember how to pronounce it, but the cute-overly-emotional-prone-to-anger trope that's so frequent for the lead female.

I love Persona 3, but I love any game with a dating sim portion. Plus I have a crush on Mitsuru-senpai. :( I didn't hate Yukari, but I didn't care much for her either... same with Fuuka (I don't know if you've gotten her yet), but at least Fuuka had some good yuri potential!

Oh god me too. Like, I've been checking gamefaq for the Japanese history questions, but I'm flying solo for the human interaction part since I love that best with the games.

Mitsuru-senpai is totally my type. :| Then again, I have a lot of types, and almost all of them appear in the game.

I don't hate Yukari either, but it's a bit like the Nico thing. "It isn't that I dislike you, it's just that compared to the other SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME people, you're just... meh." I haven't gotten Fuuka yet, but I've watched the others play. I don't like her voice actor so much, but the character is pretty neat. They've got a lot of good voice actors for this. Yukari's is pretty damn good even if I don't care for the character, and Junpei's is fantastic. Then again, his type of character usually gets the best of the voice acting bunch.

Also Akihiko is queer as a $3 bill. I love it.

Yukari is more complex and interesting than she originally appears, in my opinion. Her growth (as well as that of Junpei) throughout the game is one of the things that really impressed me.

Absolute agreement on Akihiko. :D

Max out your academics if you want to date Mitsuru. (IT IS SO WORTH IT OMG).

Also, a reasonably high academics will let you "date" Bebe (the guy in the home ec room), which I highly recommend because he is THE CUTEST EVER.
