When I try to dl any of these, it tells me it's a binary file and it dls as an Excel doc full of gibberishy wingdings. Should I blame my computer for that?

Just popping back to spam the everloving fuck out of your journal say that I finally had a chance to listen to both the TrickyFish and the TrickC mixes today, and, oh, man, some of those songs are JUST PERFECT. Specifically, the Dixie Chicks "The Long Way Round" and OK Go!'s "You're So Damn Hot" both set off TrickC vibes in my head. Also, Internet Porn. BWAH!! Oh, and the Ani Di Franco song, whatsit, "As Is." And "Throw Your Arms Around Me" in a TrickC context made me remember why TrickC is my second favourite pairing.

And as for the TrickyFish mix, I think the Clem Snide (never heard of them) song "Something Beautiful" may be my new favourite TrickyFish song EVER. I'd never thought of "Smooth" in the context of this pairing, but now that I have, I can't believe I hadn't because OMG YES PLEASE.
