Landry (an Inception fanfic, 1/1)

I guess I write fanfic now, as well as reading it. I was as surprised as anyone when the Inception Reverse Big Bang snared me. It was fun, though!

Lovely! The visual of Arthur suiting up and kitting himself out was delicious. :D

Thank you! That bit was fun, if difficult, to write.

This was very cool world building. I loved your take on Arthur's background, and loved the idea of forging a version of yourself. Arthur and Eames were both terrifically badass in this. Thanks!

Thanks! I have such a thing for competence, and by extension badassery -- you have no idea -- so it's really nice to hear that I can write it. :D World-building is fun, too! The movie gave us such tantalizing hints... The PASIV would be such a game-changer. I love exploring (however I can manage it) the repercussions.

Well, you already know that I like this, but I'm commenting again anyway so that this time it's on public record.

I like this. :D (Yeah, my beta comments were more detailed, but I...am lazy.)

Very nicely done! I really enjoyed their plan to use a forged version of Arthur to fool Meyer, and I found it fascinating that because she saw him as a projection, she was able to influence him at least a little.

Also, very happy that Eames wasn't letting Arthur go it alone at the end there! :D

Great fic, thanks for sharing!
Peace,

Glad you liked it! The bit with Meyer projecting onto Arthur was a big part -- second, of course, to the art! -- of what inspired this story. I had so much fun with that.

And yeah, Eames isn't so daft as to let Arthur slip away... ;)

Oh you know how much I love this story, yes? I loved the way you set up the story to drop us in the middle but we still didn't get lost. The intensity and the emotions are all amazing and I really had moments of OH SHIT! ^__^ So excited to see what happens next with this and I too am very, very glad that Eames is not letting Arthur go alone. *squishes you so hard*

*squishes you back* See, when you give me inspiring art, you get an inspired story. That's the way things work. :D And yay, I made Rahl bite her nails! Excitement is fun.
