Kresge sent me a packet on graduation info a couple of weeks ago and I finally got around to really looking at it

a lot of the departments have their own graduations! i don't know about the linguistic department, but community studies does. ours isn't formal, it's just a potluck in the department head's backyard, but it's SOMEthing.

The Ling dept. does too. I think there's usually a BBQ? It's not a really formal affair, but I hear it's pretty cool. My friend last year actually only went to her Ling & Physics graduations, because she didn't identify with Oakes, and hadn't lived there in four years.

Hmm I wish I could only do the Ling one. Mom wants me to do a formal one though, so what she says goes. Thanks for the info, though!
