as he jumped up to a nearby tree, two things passed through his mind:

1) YAY MASTER IS HERE!
2) ...Oh crap, Master is here.

that last one gave him pause from going up further. while he was truly glad that his master was now here, he was also well aware that should he find out that Obi was here and Shirayuki was still unaccounted for and possibly left in Tanburn with Prince Raji by herself and all the circumstances surrounding that....yeah this ninja is not as keen to greet his master as he normally would be.

so. Obi will be. still in this tree, realizing the gravity of the situation and thinking of what to do when Zen inevitably finds him.]
