[Kanade is just wandering around the city like she usually does, trying to get used to the new city. She'd been living in a large school area until now so having a whole city to deal with was something she wasn't used to.

She'd been walking for a long time now and figured she should stop to rest a bit. Seeing Neku slumped by a tree, Kanade decides to stand against the tree next to his.]

[Neku doesn't say anything, just stares at her contemplatively. if she wanted something, she would get his attention and he'd take the headphones off.]

[She merely continues to lean against her tree before looking back over at Neku. She stares at his head phones for a while. She was curious as to what he was listening to and was trying to see if she could overhear what was playing from where she stood]

[He flicked through his shuffle idly, and temporarily froze when "Kill Me Every Time" pilfered the soundwaves. Godammit, not now! He pulled the headphones off and switched the power off, contemplating chucking them in the pond and just being done with it.]
