Who: xthecorvus and vatheon Location: Central plaza Time: Late morning Style: Starting in third but I'll follow you! Status: OPEN LIKE... open.. things.
There was little one could do when forced into such situations. Even demons fell plague to this city's powers. The only logical response to being alone in such a place was to, of course, find a way out alone. Research was... so very slow without that demon around. What irritated him most? That contract still lit faintly under his eyepatch; a continuous reminder that his faithful lapdog was nowhere to be found. Some contract, he would find himself thinking. That demon could do damn near anything. Logically, remaining by his master's side in such a strange place would be among those things.
It took quite a while to quell the rage that filled him when he'd disappeared just under his nose. Almost mockingly. As that demon commonly did. That smirk was about the last thing he saw, and it left quite the bitter taste in his mouth.
Separation does funny things to human beings such as himself if he can even be considered one. It seems to make one much more acute to the specific feelings one gets when someone is around. The same took effect

Though the months, perhaps even the weeks had passed for the young earl, it was a mere five to ten minutes ago, perhaps even less for the demon. Perhaps minutes went by like hours considering their distance and the finality that seemed to be dictated by that death scythe. But it was those precious few seconds that passed where Sebastian had been able to rest easy. It was all a matter of twisting his body just so to protect his lord from the impact of their sudden landing but he had him. It would be alright. He was safe

If this wasn't a beautiful sight, then Izaya really didn't know what was. He couldn't remember the last time that he had seen the butler but the fact of the matter was that it had been too long regardless. Izaya didn't move to help. Instead, he remained carefully perched on the back of the bench he had squatted on earlier to watch the fountain. His face was bright with an expression of amusement and he struggled not to laugh too much

The demon was no king on anyone's chessboard. A mere knight, that's all he was. A knight under the service of quite the vengeful young king but that's how it was. His knight, his sword and shield, the method of which that king (or lord as the case was) was to gain his crown of victory. But all knights held a measure of dignity despite the scars they had in battle

Almost as once he knew that Sebastian didn't recognize him. They had had a particular relationship when the demonic butler was last in Vatheon. Like Izaya had recently experienced, some people came back with their memories and others did not. Unfortunately, it seemed that Sebastian did not.
"Ciel Phantomhive?" he said, recalling the butler's young, little master. The brat that Izaya had never bothered to invest too much time in except for when he felt that it'd be useful to his relationship with the demon. "I highly doubt that. He's probably just safe and sound in his home~," Izaya said flippantly.
He didn't really want to be ignored by Sebastian. Not after it had been so long. So Izaya swept around and stood again in front of Sebastian. "I realize that you live to serve him and as sweet as that is, you can relax."
If he'd been here in the past, the demon had no recollection of it whatsoever. None of the matter had been familiar and neither was this particularly incessant stranger. But the demon had to give it to him. His stubbornness, bordering on annoying determination rather reminded him of a particular shinigami from back home. Of course, less flamboyant and most certainly less red

"Careful!" Naoya was at the man's side in a moment, kneeling down beside him. He put a hand on the man's shoulder, apparently thinking nothing of the contact. "Don't sit up too quickly. How hurt are you?"
The sudden support was surprising to say the least but he managed to pull himself from the other man slightly before straightening up. Though it was, admittedly rather welcome for the time being. It was unsightly enough being seen in public, so much more being assisted by someone else.
He regained his dignity, however and manages the smallest smile. "Nothing more than a mere inconvenience." the butler replied, pressing a hand to his chest in semblace of that bow in his usual stance. However, it did serve a dual purpose of staunching the bleeding. "I'll be quite alright after a while."
"After a while?" From the looks of the wound, Naoya doubted that. His lips tugged downward for a half-second before a calm expression returned to him.
"If you are willing to stand still for a moment, I can likely heal you." The 'likely' was only added on because, well...Vatheon did have a habit of bringing very strange people.
Considering the ways one ends up in this plaza, she really shouldn't be surprised that anyone can still show up injured. However, that does not mean she can overlook it.
"Good lord!" That exclamation was kept to herself as she rushed over when the man tried to pull himself. The fact that he was able to despite the pools of blood was, well, impressive. Well, it's not like she knew what he was. "Slow down a little, I can get you first aid!"
