Oh, it's Missile! He is an old and super-fluffy dog now, but he remembers you. He thinks. You smell familiar anyway.

He wags his tail gently and yips in greeting.]

[She stares down at the old dog, and tightens her hug around the kitten.]

D-don't hurt her. O-or me. Please?

[Oh dear. Missile just sits down, rather than coming closer, and peers up at An from beneath all the fuzzy fur. He doesn't mean any harm...]

[She stares at him for a moment, and then reaches out a hand. Maybe... maybe it'll be okay...]

[Why not look around for someone, then? Because there's an older kid walking by, messing with an almost identical "starfish thing" like it's some sort of communicator. There were so many little ones lately that it's almost ridiculous. Yet there was one other commonality: weaving between his feet was a small white kitten that seemed to mewl rather loudly as he got closer. Looking down at the kitten first, he soon sees the little girl.]
