There was a knock at her door.

Behind it stood Vash, who had a grin that almost stretched to his ears. It was going to be so great to see Noel again, especially after the five weeks she went missing. But she was back now, and that was the important thing. No curse or weather could ever prevent him from trying to see her.

While he waited for the door to open, he brushed off a few clumps of snow from the shoulders of his coat and shifted the large box of chocolates in the crook of his right arm. This weather was very strange- it wasn't exactly rain and it was very, very cold. Since the gunman was from a desert world, he had never seen snow before. It was all a new experience for him, really.

Noel on the other hand, wasn't a stranger to snow at all and was actually fairly comfortable in this weather. It made her thankful that she had been transported to Vatheon with her big coat in tow.

Hearing the knock Noel quickly opened the door, revealing the one and only Vash the Stampede standing behind it. "Vash, it's good to see you again. D-did you have any trouble getting here?"

"No, Noel, I had no problem at all! Here, I brought this for you." Wearing the incredibly idiotic smile he was known for, he took the box of chocolates and handed it to her. Man, he was so happy to see her face after all this time.

"So, shall we go to the park now?" Vash asked, extending an arm so that she could take it. Even though he could be a pervert, he still had some manners left in him.

Noel looked down at the box of chocolates in surprise, a little hesitant to take it at first. "F-for me? Oh Vash...y-you didn't have to get me anything...but thank you."

"Y-yes, of course." At first Noel stared at his arm blankly for a moment, not really sure what he was implying. "...O-oh." With a huge blush on her face, she gently wrapped her arm around his.
