[ and Kohaku was just going to get some food, because she was running out.

All thoughts of food were halted, however, as she saw that little girl laying in the street right there. No, now her mind was totally on rushing over, kneeling next to her, putting a hand on her shoulder, and trying to wake her up. ]

Hey, are you all right?!

[ panicpanicpanic ]

[ Oh, someone's moving her...

Guriko's eyes lazily flutter open, and she brings up a hand to rub her eye, tiredly. She obviously doesn't seem to think sleeping in the middle of nowhere is strange in the least, so she yawns, moving her hands back to support her sitting up. ]

Guriko is fine.

[ is that a sigh of relief? we think so. ]

oh, thank goodness.

[ but then she gives you one of those 'are you cray-cray?' looks. ]

But, ah ... what are you doing, laying down out here?

[spooneyes]

[ Yes yes she is. ]

[So, Crowley is just walking along, finishing up random pastry, and he's about to throw the greasy wax paper that is left into this random garbage can-]

[Wait a second. Is that a girl sleeping in there?]

[A pause, and Crowley kicks the can with his snake-skinned shoe (which might not be a shoe at all), looking over as he smirks.]

Rise and shine. You can't exactly sleep where people throw their trash, can you?

[ Quickly, she's awake, hands falling on the rim of the garbage can to brace herself from more kicks. Guriko huffs briefly, slightly cranky from being woken up from her nap, but she gets why he might want to wake her up.

Easy target, right? ]

Can you throw your trash where people are sleeping?

Can you sleep where people are throwing their trash?

[He cocks his head at her in curiosity.] What are you doing in a trash can? You do realize that housing is free here?

Guriko can't live on her own. [ Because that would be admitting loneliness and she also kind of sucks at taking care of herself. ] And she has no friends so she can't get a roommate. The end.

[ Two things: ]
[ a) Living with his sister is pretty great! He loves her and she loves him and they love each other. ]
[ b) There is a girl sleeping in their, um. Their porch. And that is so sad. :(c Jade probably won't appreciate this sweet girl sleeping in their porch either. ]

[ John walks over to her and tries to shake her awake. ]

Miss? Hello, miss? Um. If you wanted a spare bed, you could've asked!

[ Well, falling asleep on someone else's porch was probably a bad idea. I mean, if they found her, they definitely would wake her up, right?

Guriko rises up on her elbows, moving a hand to rub her eye. He probably wants her to move, right... ]

I mean... do you want to come inside? Get some breakfast? We have another room too. You can stay there for tonight, if you want.

You don't seem mean.

[ She shakes her head. ]

Guriko doesn't want to be a burden. She's fine out here.

[Tiir can completely empathize with not wanting to live somewhere-he's constantly changing apartments, after all. Staying in one place for too long doesn't sit well with him.

[ ASSUMING THEY'VE EXCHANGED NAMES-- ]

Tiir-nii. [ She rubs her eyes, standing up to be at level with Tiir. Or kind of at level, considering he's like a million feet taller than her. ]

Guriko was just taking a nap.

... I don't think out on the streets is an appropriate place to sleep. Were you really that tired?

Guriko doesn't sleep at night. [ Too many nightmares. ] And she doesn't have anywhere else to sleep.

Well, he is not one to just leave someone lying in the middle of the street. So he crouches down and shakes her shoulder gently. ]

[ And Guriko opens her eyes, slowly, letting out a long yawn. Girl is tired. ]
