[THEY CAN BE ANGST BROS]superboysmashSeptember 24 2011, 23:28:27 UTC
Let me guess. You're new.
[That observation brought to you by cloning! That's right, Vatheon's very own super-clone was staring at the new arrival, arms crossed over his chest. Part of the big red S shield of his shirt was still visible, but the sides were hidden by the big brown jacket some lady had given him.
As usual, he doesn't look even a little whelmed. Though he was somewhat suspicious of the new guy...his wardrobe made him look like a potential villain.]
[Squall doesn't respond at first. He's not sure he likes how this guy is talking to him, but deep down, he had to admit that if their roles were reversed, he might have said something similar himself. He brushes his hair to one side, and the scar on his face is much more visible now.]
[There was probably a less ominous and vaguely threatening way to say that, but honestly Superboy was still wary. That, and he only barely knew more about this place than this new arrival did. So it wasn't like there was much for him to tell him.]
Towels on the rack over there.
[Superboy just nods at a stand a few yards to Squall's left. He was trying to be as helpful as he could, but honestly he sort of sucked at the 'welcome' thing. The Balamb Inn this was not, and Squall's receptionist was an angsty teen who just so happened to be able to throw cars...]
[Tough guy, aren't you? Squall thinks. Oh yes, he definitely doesn't like the way the guy is talking to him, but there really wasn't anything he could do about that. Or rather, he could probably do something about it, but to do so would be an extremely stupid idea. Squall has to bite back a retort, as the last thing he wants to do is start a fight. So instead, wordlessly, he heads over to the stand to get a towel and start drying himself off.]
