[The first thing Setzer would notice upon opening the door is that the shop seemed rather cheerful, music playing quietly in the background. The next was that there was only a young blond behind the counter, most of the other customers already gone for the evening. Though that didn't really dissuade the occasional stragglers from coming in to enjoy one more bowl or cone.

That said, another thing to note is that the main thing that this place seemed to serve was ice cream. And not just any kind, no... practically every (legal) combination available.

That said, the one behind the counter spares a friendly grin at the newcomer as he cleans the surface. Some local had spilled some of the crystal soda again...] Hey there. Can I help you?

[Because a smile and helping hand always made a day better.]

[Setzer gave the little shop a once over as he walked through it toward the counter. Cheerful little place, the music was a nice addition and suitably unobtrusive. Violet eyes scanned the impressively lengthy menu before speaking.] Hello, lad. Perhaps that Hot Buttered Rum Pecan Sundae?

[Really, he should eat something more filling but that could come later. At least he'd gotten something which wasn't entirely nothing but ice cream.]

[He and his friends did their best making it! It was the least they could do for those who seemed so upset about not being home, or what could happen every now and then. At the request, Ven nods.] Coming right up! Go ahead and take a seat.

[Don't tell him that, or he'll split his packed dinner with you. Ventus disappears into the back with one last grin, since normally he didn't have the pecans and rum stocked up front. Not to mention, that's where the stove is.]

[He grabs a nearby stool and seats himself on it, letting his eyes wander and trying to keep his mind from doing the same. Still the issue needed to dealt with, since he was now here alone it would seem..he'd established himself for the moment in the hotel, so for the time being a place to stay was not an issue.

The issue was, unfortunately, he decided, in that considering this place was obviously more dangerous than it appeared to be... the making any further friends...it might not be the greatest of ideas he was thinking. Perhaps he should make the best of this place and keep the others here at arms distance. It would certainly make it easier the next time this place decided to show its ugly side and kill some of its 'citizens' off..]

[There he was. Tasuki hadn't seen him since the incident, and frankly it concerned him.]

Hey!

[Might as well confront this.]

Gonna stay away ferever?

[Setzer turns at the voice and pauses in the act of leaving the Plaza to turn and face the redhead. Might as well tell the man outright he had no intentions of returning to the house he and Locke shared.]

I decided to find my own place actually.

While the gambler broods over the unfortunate death of his dear friend, a starry-eyed sky pirate made his way through the streets of Vatheon with a look of pure wonder sketched upon his handsome face. Johnny never seen anything like this place. Who would've guessed that there would be a booming metropolis a thousand or so leagues under the sea? It was as if all the legends regarding the great city of Atlantis were true. Johnny couldn't help but be awed by the murky skies above as he watched a school of fish flutter past the translucent dome. Unsure what to make of this mysterious but awe-inspiring city, Johnny continued down the streets of this majestic city in search of both adventure and danger. There was something comforting about being surrounded by so much blue, even if the blue here didn't represent the free blue skies he grown to admire. Faint hints of white speckled the perfect blue of the sea, giving Johnny the illusion of clouds roaming free ( ... )

Setzer turned to look at the blond made with something akin to amusement from where he was seated at the counter. "Some things are actually better than the name suggests. Perhaps you should try it despite the way the name makes it sound."
